How to check an exchange's official domain
Lookalike domains work because they look official. The domain is what you check, not the page.
There is one way to check the official domain: do not click the search result, type the platform's own domain into the address bar by hand, then compare it character by character for added or missing letters and hyphens.

A lookalike site copies the whole interface - icon, colours, wording. Looking official says nothing about who owns the domain.
What to compare
The spelling of the registrable domain. One extra hyphen, one missing letter, or .com swapped for .net or .cc is a different domain, however good the page looks.

Not necessarily. The top ad slot is for sale to anyone, so check the domain before you click.
How do I check on a phone with no address bar?
Open the page in a browser, then tap the address bar or the share sheet to see the full URL. It is the same domain and the same comparison.
